Welcome!

Growing up in a large family, all occasions included food. From an early age, I was exposed to some great home bakers within my family and beyond. Whether it was holiday cookies that my Mom made, an Italian cream cake or a German Apple Kuchen from my Aunt Edie, an Irish Soda bread from Mrs. Reilly who lived up the street, or some Greek Butter Cookies called Kourabiedes from Mrs. Veletz who lived on the next block from us, it was always a special occasion to have these sweet treats. Those delicious home baked treats always brought joy to everyone (and especially me!). I learned to bake before I learned to cook anything else, and over the years baking has become one of my greatest passions. I just love seeing the positive reaction when someone is enjoying a delicious fresh baked treat! I am excited to share some of my favorite desserts and homemade treats to spread wonderful, delicious smiles from my home in Charlotte, North Carolina to you and yours! Happy holidays!
